Witam,

SGH podjęło nagłą decyzję o odebraniu mi FreeDNS i zamknięciu serwisu.

SGH odrzuciło moje prośby o współpracę w przeniesieniu serwisu.

O ile, rzecz jasna, mają prawo do zakończenia współpracy, o tyle sposób wdrożenia
uważam za skandaliczny.

Ale co zrobić. Mogę tylko przeprosić za kłopot. I zaproponować coś w zamian.

Prace nad FreeDNS::42 są zaawansowane i na pewno zdążę przed terminem zamknięcia,
nie ma potrzeby wykonywania gwałtownych ruchów. Trzeba będzie, niestety, zmienić
samodzielnie wpisy DNS u rejestratorów. Dokładny opis przeniesienia zostanie podany
na stronie http://freedns.42.pl/ w momencie, gdy wszystko będzie gotowe.

Subject: New FreeDNS::42

Hello,

Warsaw School of Economics abruptly decided to take over FreeDNS and to close
the service. Details (in Polish, sorry): http://42.pl/freedns.html
They rejected my entreaties for cooperation to move the service as painlessly 
as possible somewhere else. Details (in Polish, sorry): http://42.pl/freedns-plan.html

Of course it is their right to cancel the service, but the way they did it... I
consider it outrageous.

There is not much I can do about the current situation except for apologizing
for inconvenience they have caused and offering something in its place.

Work to bring FreeDNS::42 is in progress and I will certainly be ready before
they close the old service -- there is no need to panic. You will, however,
have to change DNS entries at your registrar.
Detailed info will be posted on http://freedns.42.pl/ once the service is
ready to roll.
